The Magic Pudding - The Victorian Opera

Victorian Opera is bringing its adored adaptation of Norman Lindsay’s classic The Magic Pudding to the stage for an unmissable return season.
Filled with a measure of musical magic, deliciously playful costumes and a hearty helping of theatrical charm, this dinky-di delight brings Lindsay’s larrikinism to life.
This Australian classic has enchanted generations with its much-loved characters Albert the Pudding, Bunyip Bluegum, Bill Barnacle, Sam Sawnoff as well as those mischievous Puddin’ thieves.
Director Elizabeth Hill-Cooper lovingly realises this production with Victorian Opera’s Head of Music Phoebe Briggs conducting a chamber orchestra.
Perfect for pudding-lovers of all ages!

Mia Koutsoumidis will be playing the role of Watkin Wombat.
